Admission Process to Our TNPSC Group I Coaching :

  • Since the number of applications for admission into our TNPSC Group I Coaching is far in excess of the available seats. We have chosen the principle of “first-come-first-served” as the basis of admission in our institute.
  • The candidates or their representatives are required to be present at Roy Academy office, with the duly filled-up application form with two passport size photographs, photo copy of valid photo ID & Address Proof of the candidate.
  • Payment mode: Fee is to be paid by cash / card. Fees once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Course fees includes: Classes, Class Tests ,Unit Tests, Mock Tests and Study Materials.
  • After admission to any of the course, if there is any indiscipline or misbehavior on the part of the students, they may be expelled, without any explanation. The right to rusticate rests solely with the management.
  • Allotment of batch is the discretion of the institute. Preference of batch may be offered to the students during admission, provided it is available.

TNPSC Group I Exam is typically conducted once a year. The exam has a 3 staged selection process. A preliminary examination followed by main exam and an interview. Candidates applying for the police service have an additional physical fitness test. Some officials from the Group 1 services of the state cadre are over time conferred the all India Civil service status based on the years of service and the recommendation of the state government.

Education Qualification

1. Candidates should possess a Degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or any other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

Note:
(i).The qualification prescribed for these posts should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the order of studies 10th + HSC (or its equivalent)+ U.G. degree.

(ii). The candidates, who have written the final year degree examination, may also apply for the Preliminary Examination for direct recruitment to the posts included in Group-I Services.

A minimum age limit criterion for Some Posts of TNPSC Group 2 Exam is 18 years and the Maximum age limit criteria are 40 years. and It is important to mention here that category wise age relaxation will be applicable as per Government norms.
